Project Spotlight
Featured Project

Somerville, MA
Two-Story Addition and Full Interior Remodel
Removed an existing enclosed first-floor porch, rebuilt the structure, and added a full second story — expanding the living room and adding a new home office upstairs. Finished with Andersen 400 series windows, custom trim, and a new bath suite. The project required engineered beams to carry the new load above the original foundation, and we coordinated with the town for structural review before framing began. We salvaged the homeowner's original hardwood pattern and matched it across the expanded footprint so the addition reads as part of the original house rather than a bolt-on. Total build was completed in just under sixteen weeks with the family living on site throughout — a coordination challenge we managed by sequencing the work to keep the kitchen and primary bedroom usable at every phase.
Project spanned 6 months from permit to final walkthrough. All trades managed in-house, single point of contact throughout.
